Dear hierarchs and priests,

Dear fellow citizens,

Ladies and gentlemen,

Let me first congratulate this great Christian holiday St. Nikola on behalf of my name and on the name of the Municipality of Shtip. Let us celebrate this day, a patron of the city!

We started the celebration of this day with a special ceremony-Concert of the city choir in the Multimedia center “Kiro Gligorov”, while during the yesterday’s day we attended the celebration evening liturgy in the church “St.Nikola”, within the frame of the formal academy and we gave the traditional acknowledgements and the Order of this year’s winners, who with their personal contribution, entered the list of ‘meritorious persons’ for the development of our city.

Today, a series of activities in the honor of “St.Nikola” we continue with the Holy Hierarchial Liturgy and Litija, as well as with the act of cutting the Slavic cake.

In the sign of festive symbolism, I would like to jointly cultivate and upgrade the richness of traditions, irrespective of our ethnic, religious and ideological affiliation.

For a successful and prosperous Macedonia where content citizens live, may we celebrate this holiday!
