Municipality of Shtip continues the construction and reconstruction of the road infrastructure in the city.

Currently construction activities are taking place in more parts of our city. Today we are in the settlement Senjak where we want to draw the attention of the public towards the building of the new pavement on the street “Boris Krajger” on the move from the sports hall “Jordan Mijalkov” to the crossroad with the boulevard “Partizanska”.

This is an infrastructure solution that increases the safety of the inhabitants from this part of the city, which is densely populated and where every day there are thousands of people who pass from this part of the city.

The pavement has an area of 650 square meters, stretching 250 meters along the street, with a width o9f 2.4 meters. Contractor of the construction activities is PE “Stipion 2011”.

If there are favorable weather conditions, it is envisaged that the construction activities will be completed soon so that the inhabitants will be able to start using it.

With the construction of this pavement, the long-standing problem of the inhabitants of one of the most recently populated settlements in the city will be solved. We are also working on the problem with the drainage of the waters that are lying on the local road and contribute to its destruction.

The inhabitants of the settlement Senjak will be pleased that this ultimate infrastructure problem is finally solved. This pavement will be used by all pedestrians, mostly children, who will safely arrive to school. With this new walking trail we will increase overall safety of all traffic participants.

Currently construction activities are taking place in the direction of new and reconstruction of existing streets and sidewalks on several places in the city, as well as plumbing and sewerage of certain locations.

I use this opportunity to inform the citizens that we have 7,000 square meters of behaton which in the following six months will be used for reconstruction of new sidewalks in the most critical points for pedestrians. This will increase security for our fellow citizens and additionally will be improved the city’s image.

The Municipality of Shtip in the new 2018 will continue to work on projects that are into function of improving the quality of life of citizens and obtaining urban and modern appearance of the city.
