The Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski addresses a greeting to all the citizens of Municipality of Shtip, on the occasion of 11^th of October, National Uprising day where he says:

Allow me to congratulate the National Uprising Day-11^th of October to all my fellow citizens. 

This is the day that should remind us of the courage and dedication of our ancestors and what we inherited from them, and that is the determination to resist the evil and This big public holiday is a symbol of devotion and justice, but also a foundation for the centuries of long determination of the citizens of Macedonia for freedom, peace, their own identity, integrated state and peaceful and dignified life. The history reminds us of the state steps of our ancestors, their decisions that seemed tough, but with time proved to be correct.

The present gives us the opportunity to continue working in the same spirit of determination and fairness, and for a better future of our country. Today and now is the moment when we write history, all together and in the spirit of true patriotism we will bring Macedonia into the European Family. It is the aspiration of the citizens to all of us.
